South Sudan’s singer and rapper Lady Kola said she fell off a stage during a performance at Bros Hotel, confirming a viral video of the scene that left fans concerned.

In a statement on her Facebook page, Kola assured her fans that she is now “faring well” after the dramatic scene.

“First and foremost, I wanna thank everyone that has called, texted, messaged and prayed for me in regards to my viral video on media where I fell on stage last night during my performance at ‘BROS RESORT’,” Kola said Monday afternoon.

The budding artiste said the incident was triggered by physical exhaustion after she performed 8 shows in three days.

“I happened to have 8 shows in three consecutive nights where I less rested myself. I overworked myself forgetting my body and mind health hence resulting in me falling on stage.”

“I can’t tell how it happened, just found myself in the hospital. Many thanks to you all who took care of me last night. God bless you.”
