South Sudan’s U-15 begin 2023 CECAFA championship preps

Bright Stars U-15 will begin their preparation for the upcoming Ugandan Council for East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) championships in November 2023.

The South Sudanese U-15 will commence training on Saturday at Buluk Playground, according to SSFA information released on Facebook on Friday.

“Under 15 National Team today, October 27, 2023, played pre-training friendly matches against Al-Amal Football Academy and Al Garagir Football Academy ahead of its official training scheduled to kick off tomorrow.”

“The boys are preparing to participate in the 2023 CECAFA Under-15 Championship to be hosted in Uganda in early November,” a statement reads.

The pre-training matches were meant to select the best players to start the training for the national U15.
SSFA Vice President Charles Udwar advised the under-15s to increase their training efforts in order to perform well in the next tournament.

Uganda will host this year’s East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Under-15 Championship in Kampala.

Parliamentary CDF committee warns against fund misuse

The event will bring together 12 CECAFA members, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Rwanda, Burundi, Somalia, and Zanzibar.
