Wau Catholic Bishop reveals importance of Health to the Development

Bishop of Wau Catholic Diocese, Mathew Remijio Adam discloses that health is part of development according to the Church. This came during the Inauguration of Wau Teaching Hospital maternity wards.

Remijio Adam mentions that evangelization will not go without good health because health goes together with church duties.

Bishop appreciates the implementing partners for the great work they have done for the people of Wau.

The Church leader appeals to well-wishers and partners to support the hospital with contemporary equipment for treatment.


The minister of health Dr. Vincent Taban says the maternity wards should be clean and well-equipped with qualified health forces for good service delivery.

Taban appreciates AISPO and midwives for the enormous work they are rendering to the people of Wau.

The representative of AISPO Mr. Kiyodi Federico says that their responsibility is to continue to support the people of South Sudan

Federico mentions that, after they visit the wards it is bad to see people suffering in the health department and appeals to the hospital administration to take care of the newly rehabilitated wards.

Cleto Riel encourages pregnant mothers to go to maternity fellows for an excellent life for mothers and infants.
