Armed suspect dead after breaking into Ruskin home overnight, HCSO says

RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — An armed suspect is dead after he broke into a home in Ruskin, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

In the early hours on Sunday, around 12:24 a.m., officials received a call that someone had broken into a home in the 3000 block of Double D Ranch Trail.

Deputies arrived the find the suspect already dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

HCSO is expected to release additional information later on Sunday after they wrap up the investigation.
