Tampa man stabbed, killed during early morning fight: police

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A fight that broke out at a Tampa home early Friday morning reportedly left one man dead.

The Tampa Police Department said officers responded to the home on Mandarine Place shortly before 4 a.m. after receiving reports of a “physical altercation.”

Once they arrived, police said they found an adult with multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not identified the man.

The police department’s initial investigation reportedly revealed that the victim and another person had gotten into a fight inside the home.

Investigators said the two adults knew each other beforehand, but did not provide any further information about their relationship.

The other individual involved in the incident has reportedly been cooperating with police.
