TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Finding a partner in a bigger city can be a challenge, but for those living in Tampa, it may not be so bad.
A new study from WalletHub ranked Tampa among the top five cities for single people.
Across 182 U.S. cities, WalletHub used three key dimensions of dating-friendliness— economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities, to determine which city was the best for those who have yet to put a rock on their finger.
These dimensions included restaurant and bar costs, attractions, nightlife options, wellness and shopping centers, social clubs, and online dating opportunities, among others.
Experts carefully evaluated and scored each city out of 100, factoring in the population size and average prices for a two-person meal.
Tampa scored 60.5 out of 100, coming in No. 5 on the list. The city ranked No. 13 in fun and recreation, No. 22 in dating opportunities, and No. 110 in economics.
